Progression
We value the importance of helping our team to develop their careers further and are constantly looking to encourage individuals to progress within our company. Here are just some of the examples of how we've helped employees with extra internal and external training and development opportunities to advance their career at H2eCommerce.

Since joining the Company I have been encouraged to develop my skills and knowledge to the point I moved from Customer Services (which I joined in 2010) to the Commercial Team; and am now managing the Commercial Department. The support I’ve received from the Managing Directors has been invaluable as has help from colleagues in other areas of the business. Being inquisitive and having the ability to prioritise your workload are important traits for succeeding in our business.

I’ve progressed from a Customer Service Advisor role when I started here to my current position of Sales Manager. Along the way I’ve undertaken courses to develop my Excel skills and more recently attended Sales Fundamentals and Sales Management training; all with the support of H2eCommerce. Working here is about the great mix of people we have with a wonderful team that wants to help one another and problem solve. A can-do attitude will see you go far here...

I’m the Marketing Manager at H2eCommerce having initially been recruited for an Online Marketing Coordinator role. I have always been very ambitious and keen to develop and progress. This was recognised by my manager at the time and after about a year in my initial role, I was lucky enough to be put forward to study towards an MSc in Digital Marketing Communications, which was supported and funded by H2E. This was a fantastic course and helped me to learn and develop into my current position as Marketing Manager and I’m still encouraged to regularly attend marketing and ecommerce conferences all over the UK to keep my knowledge up to date.

I was brought in as Systems Developer working on our web platform in a role that was essentially a Junior Developer as I had no background in web development. Today, I’m a Senior Developer with full ownership and responsibility for the ‘Web Platform’ project and manage a team of developers to implement the work on our platform. Whilst at H2eCommerce, I’ve undertaken a time management course to aid me in my new management role, and more recently I’ve enrolled in the Microsoft Certification Programme to allow me to work towards Microsoft Certified Accreditations. The most enjoyable part of working here is the people. You’re surrounded by colleagues who are easy to get on with and like to socialise away from the office.
