Summary of Role:

Part of the highly successful Europe-wide group, Cartridge People is an award-winning, UK e-commerce business, and one of the largest market leaders in printer consumables, printers and now stationery supplies, based in Cheshire.

Due to exceptional growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and capable Creative Multi-Media Assistant to join our skilled Marketing Team.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Creative Multi-Media Assistant’s main purpose will be to create high quality multi-media video content for marketing and promotional purposes.

Travelling between our sites in Crewe and Winsford to complete project work, the successful applicant will create engaging promotional content, photography, and videos for our popular e-commerce website, Cartridge People. They will also provide support to the designers and the wider marketing team.

  • Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Production of product videos, including camera/lighting set-up, filming and editing.
    • Assisting with product photography.
    • Editing product images in Adobe Photoshop.
    • Promotional content creation including: social media graphics, animations and videos for YouTube and Instagram Reels/IGTV/TikTok.
    • Create lifestyle and stock images for photo sites such as Flickr, to help support the SEO and content team.
    • Provide support to the designers and marketing team as and when required.
    • Ensure that brand guidelines are followed at all times, and ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
    • Simultaneously manage multiple work requests, prioritising your workload in line with team demand.
  • Skills Required:

    • Experience in product photography, the video production process, and video editing essential. Candidates without demonstrable video experience will not be shortlisted.
    • Knowledge of DSLR Cameras is an advantage.
    • Solid experience with filming, lighting and camera set up, and editing engaging videos.
    • Strong background utilising video editing software (e.g., Final Cut, After Effects, Premiere or other related software).
    • Experience of Adobe Photoshop is desirable.
    • Excellent organisation and time management skills with experience of managing multiple projects and working to team deadlines.
    • Driving license and own transport is essential.
    • Able to work on own initiative and independently, as well as part of a team.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Passionate about film and photography.
    • Experience of working in a digital marketing/ ecommerce environment would be advantageous.
